A gesture drawing is a suggestion, a fluid motion of lines and/or masses that give a sense of direction and space that is occupied without total commitment, there is still an open feel for the viewer...
Examples from class I did on 1/31:
It is hard to photograph sketches from class and have them show up very well. I tend to draw lightly and overlap several poses within the same sheet, so sometimes it may be hard to tell what is what!
