Updates on classwork and homework

Blogging is a definate challenge for me. So, I do apologize for the inconsistency and/or blank pages, or any odd occurances that I do not know how got there nor how to fix!

Here is an update on my drawing from master assignment. It is so much harder to try to do at home. There is a fluidity that I feel I lose because of interuptions and lack of blocks of time to work, not to mention the environment! That is what I love about class so much. It is time and place without distractions, where I can focus on the figure and apply what we have been learning, a freedom of mind so to speak.

Once I have the heads high and wide, and a few key points that are fairly accurate, I begin to narrow down other information, continuing the same process with measuring tools. I also begin to consider the space around the figure. As I work, I try to keep it lose and light, still sketchy as I make corrections, and not focus on one area too much. I want to work it as a whole, not developing it too unevenly. I still have a long way to go on this, still plenty of corrections and figuring out to do, no pun intended!
